Project 4
So for project 4 my group was thinking about writing how we don't need the foot bridge they are putting in by the B&E. Since it looks like they have already started construction on it, I'm not sure if it's a good thing to do the project on. I was thinking maybe we could talk about how a sidewalk is needed over by the stadium. I think the university is thinking about doing this in the future. We could just talk about why it needs one or what the benefits of putting one in would be. I think it's most important to finalize what space we want to work with, and then plan how we are going to get started.

Finished
My project 3 is finally finished. I am glad that it is done, and I'm happy with the final product. I think the site looks unified and polished. I wanted to give it a clean and friendly feel and make it inviting. I wanted to do this because I think my living room is friendly and inviting but also simple. I like the pictures that I included, too. I also think my faq page is pretty good because it explains what the site is about and a little about who I am in case people are curious. Now, I can focus on the other three papers I have to write for other classes and the other website I have to make for Tech Writing. Guess my busyness won't be letting up anytime soon.

Almost Finished
Well I'm getting close to being done with my Re-vision project. All I have left to do is to make my FAQ page and add some things to my homepage. I'm getting really frustrated though because some of the things are not working. I can't get this one picture of a plant to work. It shows up when it is on my computer, but it won't show up when I put it online. It's weird. I just hope that I can get it to work by tomorrow. Otherwise, I'll just have to let it be.
So Much To Do, So Little Time
So this whole month of April is pretty busy. I have been going nonstop these past few days, and it's not going to let up for another week or two. It seems like I have somewhere to go every single evening. I've had zero relax time. It's been a project here and paper there, and tonight is no different. I have to finish up the project for this class tonight, but at least it's more enjoyable then researching a country that begins with a Q then writing an 8-10 page paper about it. Anyway, I'll be glad when this semester is over.

Bad Day
So today kind of sucks. My car won't start. I don't know why because it started fine this morning, I'm pretty sure the battery is good. Also, the fluids and everything are good because we checked them yesterday. And....my roommate's car is broken so we are without a single car. Which wouldn't be so bad except we really need one. She has a job at the law school she needs to get to, and I have a lot of meetings and stuff to go to, this week especially. So anyway, I'll stop complaining now.

After Spring Break
Going to Mississippi was a really great experience. I don't think people realize how much more work there needs to be done in the places that Hurricane Katrina hit. Most people have forgotten by now or think that everything has been taken care of. It was an eye opening experience to see houses still untouched since they were destroyed by the hurricane. But it was also amazing to see how much hope the people I met still had even though they had lost almost everything in the storm. When someone asked if they were bitter or angry because it had occurred, they replied that no, they were not. They said they just took the storm as a sign they needed to re-evaluate their lives and then they picked up and moved on. It was also amazing to meet people who devoted their lives to helping these people who had been through the hurricane. This one man we met had left his job and moved to Mississippi to work as a volunteer and help rebuild. He has been helping for over a year now. We put in a lot of hard work, but it was all worth it. I really would like another chance to go down there and help out again.

Spring Break
I'm so excited that it's almost spring break. This year I am going on a missions' trip with BCM to Mississippi. We are going to help with hurricane Katrina cleanup. We might also get to help build some new houses. I really am looking forward to this opportunity to go down there and help out people who still don't have a place to live. I just hope that we can get a lot done for these people and that all of us will be willing to work and have good attitudes while we are there. We are taking a charter bus, but the ride shouldn't be too bad because we are driving for 7 or 8 hours then staying overnight somewhere before we drive the rest of the way. We only get to be down there working for 3 days though. I wish we could be there longer. We do get to visit New Orleans while we are there. That should be a good experience since I've never been there before.
FAQ Page
For the project for English 303 I have to include an FAQ page on my site. I need to include information about what my site contains. I also need a section that explains the purpose and history. Then I need to include my contact info in case someone wants to reach me about the site. I want to include information about each of the projects that are linked to my site. I want to tell what the projects are and what they were for. I want to talk about how this site was created for my English class. Then I want to talk about the class and tell why I am taking it. Then I could talk about who I am and what my major is and such. I will include a link to the FAQ page on my home page and on each page in my re-vision site.

Writing I Need to Do for Project
I need to add more text to my project in order to meet the minimum requirement of writing and of pages. I could write a story associated with the room. I could talk about my roommate and describe her or how I know her. I could also reflect on how I feel when I'm in my living room or how I feel about living in the apartment in general. I can talk about people that come to visit me and describe who they are and why they come. I could also talk about what they think of my living room. I could add a section about the deck that is attached to the living room. This could be a whole page where I could describe it and talk about a story or something associated with it.

NCAA Tourney
I've been getting into the NCAA basketball tourney lately. I think it's because of facebook. I filled out a bracket, which I don't normally do, because I was asked to join a bunch of pools on facebook. The fact that it was free and the chance to win money also motivated me a bit. So since I filled out a bracket I've been wanting to watch the games and root for the teams I picked. The way I went about picking teams was kinda funny though. I really haven't followed basketball at all this season so I basically guessed. I haven't been doing horrible though. I'm pretty sure I won't win, but I'm beating my boyfriend and most of my friends so that's exciting for me. (I'm slightly more competitive than anyone should ever be.) Anyway, I'm thinking maybe next year I should pay more attention to basketball. It's a fun sport to watch, and I wouldn't mind being better at predicting who will win. However, it's hard to predict things like that so, who knows, it might be better that I just guessed.

Project 3 for English 303
The space I used in my first project was my living room at my apartment here in Morgantown. I like that we get to expand on this and be creative during Project 3. It will be good to add visuals so that people can see what the living room looks like instead of just reading a description. The visuals I want to include are pictures of the entire room, a picture of the plant, a picture of the decorations on my walls, pictures of the furniture, and pictures of me and my roommate doing the activities we do in our living room. Activities we do include doing homework, watching tv, playing video games, and eating.
